Wave aims to revolutionize the concept of 'AR' making it attractive to people as well as companies. It develops Augmented Reality systems with the possibility of interacting with them.
Wave is building a mixed reality system which can display all the information needed for driving, such as speedometer, navigator, time, Point of interest, etc. on the windshield.
With AI, Wave is able to detect any obstacle on the road, such as pedestrians, cars or objects that obstruct the journey or road signs.
Wave develops Augmented Reality (AR) systems designed to be implemented on "next-generation vehicles", in order to allow the driver to interact with his vehicle without taking his eyes off the road, decreasing the possibility of road accidents and empowering the driving experience.
Wave’s augmented reality systems are very versatile: they can be used in different situations and on different "next-generation vehicles", such as AR windshields, 3D prototyping systems and transparent touch screens.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Business Innovation Factory of Leonardo s.p.a, Wave is implementing its system in the field of aerospace, in particular into helicopters that deal with air rescue during search and rescue missions. Wave also collaborates with other companies to improve and expand its horizons. Other potential applications are: agriculture, construction, space, naval and autonomous.

Wave was born in 2019 as a startup based in Bologna and immediately incubated by Almacube. The idea is to revolutionize the concept of 'hologram' making it attractive to people as well as companies. Wave develops hologram augmented reality systems designed to be implemented on "next-generation vehicles", such as holographic windshields, 3D prototyping systems and transparent touch screens. This allows the driver to interact with his vehicle without taking your eyes off the road.
